CISCO IPSEC (HOW TO USE)

Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8: VPN Setup

1. Download and Install the IPSec VPN client for Windows: 
2. Download and unzip the config file: 
3. Double click the "VPN Access Manager" shortcut on your Desktop to start the VPN client program.
4. Click File button on the menu bar.
5. Cick Import button to import one the config files (for example 1.gfwvpn.com.vpn). It was unzipped from cisco-ipsec-config.zip in step 2.
6. Click the Connect button on the "VPN Access Manager" window.
7. Input Username and Password on the popup window, and then click Connect button to start the VPN.
8. After the VPN connection is done, do NOT close the popup window, or else it will disconnect the VPN.
9. Tips 1: you can select the "Minimize when connection succeeds" and "Remember the connection user name" in the Preference setting of "VPN Access Manager".
10. Tips 2: you can select the Window Style:"Visible in System Tray only" in the Preference setting of "VPN Access Manager".

Mac OS X 10.5+: Cisco IPSec PSK VPN Setup

1. Click the Apple Menu in the upper left corner
2. Click on System Preferences
3. In the System Preferences window, click Network
4. In the Network window, click the Lock and enter your password.
5. Click + to add a new connection.
6. In the following prompt, for Interface: select VPN
7. In the VPN Type:, select Cisco IPSec
8. In the Service Name: field, enter gfwvpnipsec
9. Click Create
10. In the Server Address: field, enter your supplied server (for example:1.gfwvpn.com)
11. In the Account Name: field, enter your supplied username
12. Click Authentication Settings
13. In the Password: field, enter your supplied password
14. In the Shared Secret: field, enter gfwvpn
15. Click Ok
16. Click Connect

iPhone / iTouch / iPad: Cisco IPSec PSK VPN Setup

1. Open the Settings application
2. Click on General
3. Click on Network
4. Click on VPN
5. Click on Add VPN Configuration
6. Select IPSec tab from the (L2TP,PPTP,IPSec)
7. In the Description field, enter gfwvpnipsec
8. In the Server field, enter your supplied server (for example:1.gfwvpn.com)
9. In the Account field, enter your supplied username
10. In the Password field, enter your supplied password
11. In the Secret field, enter gfwvpn
12. Click Save

1. Press the Home button
2. Open the Settings application
3. Click on VPN
4. Click on gfwvpnipsec
5. Set VPN to ON

Android: Cisco IPSec PSK VPN Setup

1. Open Settings and click on Wireless Controls
2. Click on VPN Settings
3. Click on Add VPN
4. In the VPN Name field, enter gfwvpnipsec
5. For the VPN Type, choose IPSec Xauth PSK
6. In the Server address field, enter your supplied server (for example:1.gfwvpn.com)
7. Set IPSec pre-shared key to gfwvpn
8. Click Save
9. Click on gfwvpnipsec
10. In the Username: field, enter your supplied username
11. In the Password: field, enter your supplied password
12. Some users may select Remember username
13. Click Connect
