OpenVPN Setup : Windows XP

1. Install OpenVPN client from https://s3.amazonaws.com/gfw/client/openvpn-2.1.1-gfw-install.zip
2. Select and download the OpenVPN config files: n.gfwvpn.com-xp.zip
3. Unzip n.gfwvpn.com-xp.zip and copy config files (ca.crt, client.ovpn, ta.key) to folder C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config\
4. Start the OpenVPN GUI, and use your username and password for connection

OpenVPN Setup : Windows Vista/7

1. Download OpenVPN client installer from https://s3.amazonaws.com/gfw/client/openvpn-2.1.1-gfw-install.zip and unzip the openvpn-2.1.1-gfw-install.zip.
2. Right click OpenVPN installer(openvpn-2.1.1-gfw-op-install.exe), click Properties. Select "Windows XP (Service Pack3)" compatibility mode and "Run this program as an administrator", then click "OK".



3. Double click "openvpn-2.1.1-gfw-op-install.exe" to install OpenVPN.
4. Select and download the OpenVPN config files: n.gfwvpn.com-win.zip
5. Unzip n.gfwvpn.com-win.zip and copy config files (ca.crt, client.ovpn, ta.key) to folder C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config\ (For 64bit Win7, it's C:\Program Files(x86)\OpenVPN\config\)
6. Right click the "OpenVPN GUI" shortcut on the Desktop, and click Properties. Then select "Run this program as an administrator".



7. Double click the "OpenVPN GUI" shortcut on your Desktop,and use your username and password for connection
